A two day Exterior Architectural Concrete Workshop was held on July 25th and 26th of 1997 at the PRM location in Pawtucket, RI. The Instructor for the workshop was Robert P. Harris of the Scofield Institute. Twenty-seven paying attendees included flat work finisher contractors and municipal employees from Rhode Island and Connecticut.

The workshop included learning about stamped and colored concrete as well as stained concrete. After a demonstration and explanation of the method of how to stamp and color concrete correctly, the group was divided into teams and designed, stamped, and colored their own project. There was a lot of enthusiasm within the group and all came away with the knowledge of how to handle this great added value product with an increased comfort level.
